Britannia and the Red Boat

Off to The Shore at Edinburgh today, resisting the temptation for a Halloween blip. I actually went there with the intention to photograph the Gormley and continue the series from yesterday.

When we got there though, the water was just too stunning - like a sheet of glass with amazing reflections. With the sun setting and the dramatic sky it was HDR territory all the way. So a change of plan, and I ended up having trouble picking one from 4 nice shots. Ended up plumping for this one as I liked the nose of Britannia catching the evening rays and also the bright red boat in the distance.
