Autumn rushes on

This magnificent beech tree is in my next door neighbour's garden. It is enormous and often sheds branches as well as leaves in autumn. It was blowing a gale when I went to take photos this morning.

My processing includes partial desaturation, particularly the trunk. I hope this has emphasised the dying back that occurs in autumn.
