Anniversary Dinner

It's mine & the hubby's 9th wedding anniversary today... not that we usually make a song and dance about it or anything, we don't even bother about cards - just a hug and a snog will do just fine, thank you very much!

Since Wednesdays are husband's day off anyway, he went shopping for lots of nice ingredients to make me a lovely anniversary dinner. Starter was cauliflower cheese soup, so delicious. And the kids had that for their tea too, with fresh crusty bread. After the wee ones were tucked up in bed, we had the main course - trout with a mustard and oat crust, with Charlotte potatoes and broccoli. Mmmmm.

Tell you what, I'm liking this new chef-in-the-making husband of mine! What a treat!

And here's to many more happy years together!
