staying underground

went in to town at lunchtime. no wonder people here go on about the weather so much. there is so much of it.

the plans to build the large boat and collect lots of animals are beginning to take shape. i am beginning to feel that if i spend much more time in glasgow, i will enter a permanent state of wrinkly-ness, like when you've just got out of the bath, or maybe i will just go mouldy.

i'm beginning to want a camera that does that thing where you can keep the shutter open for a while. mine might be able to do that but i obviously havent bothered reading the instructions. they're so long

i am off to sniff the xmas tree which has been sitting on a rainy pavement all day so will smell lovely.
