..the natural reaction to an evening spent in Braehead shopping centre..

carpet biter2 did his thing in the christmas play today...and a very fine tree he was too. i am very fond of the cheery waving that goes on between parents and kids at school shows. carpet biter2 likes the actual waving and smiling at the time but seems to get post-waving guilt...

"you waved at me"
"well, you looked like you were trying to see where we were"
"you made me wave at you. i wasn't allowed to wave, only smile. you shouldn't have waved at me"
