Would he get your vote?

Azerbaijan goes to the polls this Sunday to vote for a new parliament. This is one of the independent candidates, a very personable young man, recently returned from a spell in the US. We went to see him today in his campaign office and he kindly posed for me outside the entrance. He certainly seems to be focusing on all the right things in his campaign - unemployment, education, living conditions (his constituency has a large number of old buildings which are charming to look at from the outside (if you can ignore all the electricity cables, water and gas pipes, a/c units and satellite dishes that have been added) but considerably less charming inside/to live in.
