Baku Fountain Square

Out for a friends birthday dinner tonight. And my last evening with hubbie before he heads to India for 6 weeks :(

We hadn't got round to exploring the newly refurbished Fountain Square. It's very impressive... but the weird Soviet metal sculpture with lots of figures reaching out to the viewer has sadly gone. Still this made me smile. From the other side, the head is a chair. I noticed that if I knelt down I could almost complete the head... the fountain behind making the face and a topknot of hair.
