Bike Mania

Today the shop sent out a bicycle mechanic to do a first service on the bikes.
In fact he had to tighten every nut, bolt, spoke, saddle and carrier as the original assembler wasn't their usual one and all that jazz.
This evening Josephine's bike was on it's maiden voyage and as you can see most of the gang helped out checking everything to make surethat all systems were go. It was lovely to see the care they were taking.
She opted for a man's bike because it is, from India, stronger and cheaper, and parts are available and cheap.
Everyone was so excited. Boyd missed it as he had gone to play football.
Dave has ordered one as well as he walks for 3 hours each day.
The bikes cost our workers 12000 malawi Kwacha (about 60 Euro) including a lock. They pay back from their wages at about 1000 per month, so repayment takes about a year.
