Maria and Jen

Dr Maria Corrigan, from Dublin has been working full steam ahead since she arrived, with St John of God Services. This morning she got a quick tour of two of our projects. Here she is seen examining some papaya which are infested/ infected with a black. Her helper is Jen, who is 13 and daughter of Wes who joined us four months ago and who is an excellent addition to the team at Lusangazi farm and at the Citrus Grove at the roadblock. This disease, shows up as a black spot on the fruit and may be caused by an insect or a fungus, but we still don't know, even after an extensive search of the internet. Lots of similar conditions appear, but none the same
Either way it ruins the fruit.
We visited the Birthing Center later.
