Crash!!

Referring to yesterdays Blip, & the scooter run - they arrived in Nelson this afternoon, Lucy's scooter only lasted to Ashburton 75km. Yesterday they travelled in terrible wet & windy weather, but today was warm & sunny. Lucy borrowed a scooter to continue.

Doug is on call this weekend; he had a number of phone calls during the night and this mishap was one of them. He has to phone the contractors to do whatever he thinks as necessary. He went to inspect this today and I went along for the ride. No loss of life fortunately, but the bridge is a bit worse for wear - so wouldn't anything be when a large truck takes exception!!! We have been tiding the woolshed this morning also...the stuff you collect when your kids go flatting then come home then they take off again.....unbelievable.

Talking to our daughter this morning, she is back on antibiotics, her plurasy has returned, she is so over it she said. Poor thing.

I have one eye on the World Rowing Champs, a possible 4 Gold Medals up for grabs this afternoon, but I have to squeeze in some lawn mowing as well, and that takes up to 2 hours if I do them all at once.

Then, ofcourse there is the interntional rugby at 3am tomorrow morning .....our All Blacks against England.

I'm enjoying a sunshiny today :)

Late Edit 3 hours later - 2 Gold, 1 Silver, 1 Bronze - NZ are very good in World Rowing....more finals tomorrow.
