Helping

We all headed through to the wild west today and the weather was certainly wild. We left blue skies and sunshine in Fife only to meet grey murk by the time we got to Livingston and from then on it got wetter and darker.

Chaos Daddy fulfilled his dutiful son-in-law role by fixing Grandma's front door and removing half a cupboard from the kitchen so her new cooker can get fitted. He earned lots of brownie points and a few meals :-)

We went to visit my brother to see his new flat. It's lovely and had been done up to sell so he's got off with having to do lots of DIY. It's been freshly skimmed and painted and the kitchen and bathroom are sparkly. Lucky him! Bro4 was a bit concerned that Uncle D needed some help building a cabinet so he got to work helping him locate some missing bits of wood and a couple of screwdrivers - such a helpful boy!
