Tah-dah!

Just before he went to bed last night, the wee man started standing all by himself for longer than the few seconds he'd normally manage. He seemed to quite enjoy it and after sitting down, would stand back up and do it again. Thankfully, rather than being a one-off fluke, he's been doing the same thing all day today, even managing a step or two before falling back down on his bum (not proper 'first steps' as such). I can't believe how good his balance is compared to just last week - he's even managed to squat down a few times and stand back up, and will stand up next to his toy box and bang two toys together while balancing.

I seem to have been doubly lucky with this shot - if you biggify the photo, you can see his lesser spotted top tooth poking out his gum! We think the other one is about to come through too, as he's been a bit off this weekend, however thankfully his cold/fever that he had on Friday has gone so that he can go to nursery tomorrow.
