Circle of the Seasons

A Perfect Fall Day

Today was a picture-postcard day here in New England.

The white birches stood out crisply against the cornflower blue sky. The fall foliage colors have dwindled down to a more subtle yet dramatic rusty brown, yellow, and chartreuse. It's a lovely new palette, as the season nears an end.

I snapped this shot on the way to the movies with my husband.

They are predicting possible snow for tomorrow! I'll try to get a good blip of it.
