Storm in a teacup

When I took the bike out of its shed locker, I was surprised to find both tyres flat. It's always the bits of little branches, and not glass, sharp stone or some ferocious nail that cause punctures. A tiny little prick, that's all it takes. Repaired them both. The bike is my chosen mode of transport, quite often against S's insistence. Also had the new gas cylinder hauled up and replaced. Manual labour seems to suit me.

Had to visit the bank, needed some spares for the bicycle too, so wrapped them up before dropping in at work. And then the storm of banal tasks that had been brewing since the day began, reached breakneck speed. I was left with no time for lunch. Much work got done, and some has been pushed to tomorrow. There would have been cause for irritation, but given how things have often been, expectations have been adjusted.

Man can get used to anything (Doesn't automatically follow from any of the above, but it happens to be true. :) ).
