Set sun

The sun was set by the time I got to my sit-spot. I hadn't quite realised that sunset was at 4.20pm, yikes. I might have to become a morning blipper till we get past the shortest day (six weeks and counting).

More of a stand-spot today. I was standing so still taking in the changing colours that the crows hopped around my feet. Quite, quite different at dusk, calm after days of storm and rain, still and peaceful. A feeling of rest. Well worth doing even for ten minutes.
