Color Remains

After returning from Arizona on Sunday, I returned today to the University of Massachusetts (UMass) for the physics class I'm auditing on light and optics.

Walking back to the campus garage I passed this scene: some of the autumn color remains on the campus, in the setting of brick buildings against high-rise concrete. Brick is a traditional building material in the Connecticut River valley, but it only barely holds it own on the UMass campus.
