Washed

It is silent now. The noisy electrical appliances aren't needed as much during the winters. It began as a grey day, the sun fled after a brief appearance and a wave. It got greyer and the visibility more dim. I was packing my bags when it began to rain. At first, I couldn't believe it but it continued to pour washing up the migratory haze. With a few last minute tasks to wrap up, I rode to office after lunch. It wasn't cold as I thought, but it was still. The red evening sun tore its way through wispy clouds and a brief pleasant wind pushed me along on my way back.

A most inappropriate blip, this one. Most abrupt and skewed. Unlike yesterday, I hope I'll be able to append a few words here.
