(Yet another) autumn leaf

This autumn has been splendid for colour. Some trees are now bare, but others are hanging on to their leaves. The oak in our garden is an example with nearly all leaves still on the tree.

I was walking today (yes with Dickie again) and saw the sycamore with a glorious carpet of pale yellow leaves around it. A few leaves were bravely hanging on. I decided to isolate one, and then had the challenge of how to choose a suitable background. I've tried to frame it with the background branches.

Selective sharpening, a gradient or three and a luminance boost were all applied.
