Frenzy.

Headed up to Aberdeen, the man met D and they headed off to Pittodrie. Went for a walk along the shore with the daughter. Dark, grey and cold. The telephoto performs poorly in these conditions (why do I keep taking it with me when the light is like this?) and the D80 produces far too much noise at high ISO's. Got a fair number of particularly uninspiring images of seagulls (feeding manically on whatever the last fishing boat had jetisoned), boats standing off shore waiting for the tide to turn and waves crashing into the breakwater.

I guess we are waiting for our tide to turn now too. The last few weeks have been horrible, they have been hectic and exhausting. Knackered, we began trying to rebuild our future, we began to try and recapture some kind of "normality" even though it is now very alien to us.

To be fair though, Aberdeen FC did their bit. A 1-0 defeat kept our feet firmly on terra firma!
