For my chorale concert tonight, Laura made some lovely vegan boston creme cupcakes, and she asked me to take a picture of one. Here it is. :)

(This is really my first attempt with food - I tried cutting another cupcake precisely with a better knife, and it looked awful - sterile, with ugly specular reflections in the custard. This, I think, looks natural and tasty)

Also I'm not going to be having a theme for December. Call it Christmas break. :)

However, I do have two goals. One is to spend more time post-processing images and try to develop a more consistent style. The other is to comment on more of other people's great shots. Expect to hear from me!
