horns of wilmington's cow

Droplets

Heading up and over into Glen Finglas after a hearty breakfast. The weather might not have been the best, but it stayed dry-ish and gave us a chance to enjoy the countryside. A distinct lack of wildlife mind you, other than some Guinea Fowl from a nearby house paying a visit. There were some distant birds of prey, but beyond 100% identification, and some equally distant red deer...

Then in the evening a lovely lovely border collie, from the same place as the fowl, came by to mooch for food (pics of him tomorrow...)

All three of these shots could have been the blips for Saturday...

p.s. this weekend was rescheduled from last weekend due to us going to the NZ-Scotland rugby match. Sod's law in full effect - we had to deal with the cat passing away in the week before this trip, and Mary, who has been blipped before, contracted tonsilitis, meaning she only came up on the train and bus tonight for a light walk tomorrow, AND if we'd gone to the rugby THIS weekend after walking LAST weekend we would have seen Scotland get a good win.
