Early hours

After the rugby on Friday night, we met some friends in Cardiff and had a few drinks to drown Welsh sorrows. Lost all track of time but eventually made our way back to our hotel.

On the way through the city centre the Christmas lights looked beautiful, the silver and blue is really lovely. Everywhere was still fairly crowded and noisy and we didn't realise how late it was until we got back to the hotel at about 1.30 am.

So this blip is my entry for Saturday but is a bit of a cheat as for me, it was still Friday!

A good lie-in, followed by a slap up breakfast the next morning soon got rid of the residual hangover and then we started the day all over again.
