Gathering Winter Fuel

A continuation, I suppose, of yesterday's blip.

The forecasters seem to be promising us a heavy snowfall tonight. So far, it is a bright but very cold day. Better be prepared, though.

So I've come to fetch a basket of logs into the house, and Molly has come too. I'm sure she hopes there will be something to eat out of it!

(Accoring to the weather page on BBC Teletext, we will get the 'earliest significant snowfall' for some years. Does June 2, 1975 count as an early fall, or a late one?)
