Easter Eggs

A nice seasonal blip tonight.

Samantha was having good rummage around in her drawers and this turned up the other day (actually, it was in a kitchen cupboard but that doesn't have the same Oooo Matron... vibe). Not sure whether to chance it just now or wait until the Easter Egg season is upon us once more around the 27th December.

Watching some football match just now but so it's not too distracting the volume's down and there's some John Coltrane playing over the usual commentary. Strange effect, you should try it.

Talking of Easter Eggs*, here's one for all you Mac users out there (sorry, found Windows easter eggs too, but not able to check them just now). Nothing nasty here, and it won't break anything:

> Launch 'Terminal' (in the Utilities folder)
> type 'emacs' (no quotes) then press the Enter key
> Press the 'Esc' key
> type 'xdoctor' (no quotes) then press the Enter key
> follow instructions
> Type 'ctrl-x' then 'ctrl-c' to quit when you're done.

Here are my results from the above.

*A software Easter Egg is a hidden extra within a computer programme that usually requires a special key combination or command to activate it. There's hundreds of them out there if you know where to look...
