Sometimes, all I seem to see are lines

Early out this morning, the trip across Edinburgh somewhere between my usual sleepy state and optimism of not having to travel through showers of rain. It always starts the day off well. After that, the day glided by, like the worrying clouds from the north, in theory bringing colder weather and snow.

Interesting conversation with the daughters this evening regarding of all things, Miles Davis. Watching a video on the computer, child 2 asked if the reason that it was black and white was because it was filmed 150 years ago?

'60 years.' I replied.

'160 years ago,' confirmed child #2.

Ok, we'll leave it at that.
