An ubhal as airde

More snow overnight and more to come ... we've left the fruit on our apple trees this year and the birds are loving it ... they've had a go at most of the apples, but I noticed this one high up which appears to have escaped without much pecking so far ... I think it looks nice with its snowy cap ... seeing as its just about the highest apple left, it reminded me of the Runrig song an ubhal as airde, which means "the highest apple".
