Blackie & White

Another snowy day here again ... snapped lots of pics in the morning, lots of candidate snowy blips ... here's my pick ... a hen Blackie sitting amongst some snow-clad branches in a tree in the garden.

I like the way the bird is framed by all the branches which have a good load of snow on them showing that there hasn't been much wind ... when the wind blows, the drifts build, when the drifts build, we can't get out even in the Land-Rover ... saying that it's been a couple of days since I ventured out beyond our road-end. The internet and the ability to work from anywhere is indeed a marvelous thing :-)
