Outdoor therapy

Felt the need of some fresh air today - even though it was very cold. Lots of interesting things to see, berried trees against the blue sky, frozen puddles etc but I was on a quest!

This is Harden Brow Lane consisting of about 5 terrace cottages. The two to the left have stone mullions and are dated 1600. The three to the right are newer and probably nearer in age to the mill that used to stand in the middle of the village and is now a modern housing estate. (In the foreground of this picture)

My quest was to find 'Rose Cottage' Harden Brow, the address given for Robert Walker on the Menin Gate in Ypres. Sadly non of these cottages have names but the lane with 'Brow Farm' just behind can't be very far from where it was located a century ago.
