Swooping

We swooped down to Spain today for another day out (obviously I mean 'school trip'). I don't want you to get the impression that we don't like France - we have plenty of days out there too - but while we live so close to the border there is something rather wonderful about just nipping to another country for a few hours.

Back to the Aiguamolls bird park today, and here's a Marsh Harrier quartering the ground to make sure he hasn't missed any tasty tidbits. Lots of lovely shots of 'our' mountain from a different angle too, but this was easier to tidy up (must must must get my camera cleaned in Scotland).

The kids are counting the days until we get back "home" (even though they've both spent more time in this house over the years than our new house in Scotland). Me and Mr B are just counting the days until the contract is signed and we can actually make a decision about which house to buy. It's very finely balanced. (But to those requesting a blipmeet down this way: a pool is a given. My daughter will probably leave home if that's not top on the renovation list!)
