Had to be!

The owners of Auld Reekie came back today and they took their pride and joy out for a spin. They are planning an Auld Reekie 2 as they want a little more room.

Auld Reekie is therefore up for grabs for another lucky owner. Murph and his family are from Gorebridge and we got chating to find out that he is pals with the builder who carried out our loft conversion in Edinburgh. I once worked in Midlothian so know that part of the world reasonably well.

If you stay in a place long enough you always either meet someone you know or someone with whom you have shared friends. Noticed a couple of new yachts are in with Red Ensigns, not that I can't survive without other British folk around but it is nice to meet people that are doing the same or similar, to share a tale or two.

Nearly had to put out a Mayday today, as we ran out of mixers and found that there is a festival on and all the shops are shut. Thankfully we remembered we had some tonic in one of the bilge lockers...that was a close one!...it was almost Gin O'Clock. Don't worry though we are OK now...managed to get Laura to breath into a paper bag until she calmed down.
