A Watery Urban Forest

Having time to kill in Manhattan this morning, I walked about twenty blocks along 6th Avenue, making a photo essay on New York's old-style rooftop water tanks. After gathering about sixty images, I feel like some sort of expert. It is not easy, from street level and with my little camera, to get this many tanks into one shot --there are eight.
