emesis like Saturday evening

After a perfectly normal day being perfectly normal, eating things, having a wee bounce, being trundled to the a deeply unpleasant shop to get a proxy present for my youngest neice's distal paternal grandmother and a less unpleasant shop for some infant glubs (which zip up right around the side and should therefore be theoretically possible to fasten), having a little drag around on the floor, eating some more things, sleeping the required amount during the day and generally being a delight to have around, in the evening the wingpiglet again apparently semi-voluntarily decided to vomit everywhere in protest at discovering that he'd been stuck in his cot after his go-to-sleep feed. I'd popped out to see what the conditions were like underwheel and had been about to have an experimental trundle along the slightly-icy Innocent when Nicky rang to advise that the go-to-sleep feed had not successfully ended as expected. By the time I got back he'd been cleaned but was still wailing somewhere between lightly and uncomfortably. It doesn't appear to be any particular food and has now occurred with both real and false milks so seems quite likely to be some sort of neediness-related tactic, though we're quite prepared to accept swiftly-loudening crying as an excuse to transfer him to the big bed as we've little choice when the crying-venue shares a wall with our neighbours.
