Frozen Serpentine

We've had no snow here, but, brrr, it was mighty chilly.

I met some old work colleagues and their babies for brunch in Hyde Park this morning, we all made it (just) in spite of the transport chaos (tube strike, again).

I love London's parks, and all the different people and activities they attract. Although all I could think of, as I passed the icy waters, was the craziness of the group of people who voluntarily dive in on Christmas Day.

And I thought it was cold when I took Sam to his swimming lesson in a heated municipal pool a few hours later!
