Big Freeze

Heavy snowfall on Kelvin Way just after midnight today.

I just learned that there are no East Coast train services beyond Edinburgh because of the weather conditions. This worries me as tomorrow I'm supposed to take the bus to Kennacraig ferry terminal to get to Islay for a wee dram o' malt. I can only hope the Scottish Lowlands miss the onslaught that could bring about the chaos on the roads just like yesternight. Weather forecasts do look promising, though. Only light snow is predicted. The prospect of reaching Islay makes me really await eagerly the next three blips. Stay tuned.
