Dragons Den

Collected our Anniversary cupcakes yesterday. Stayed up until after midnight to take this picture. OH was amused when he opened the box as 5 dragons were looking one way & one was facing the other... Just like a typical group photo. There is always one looking in a different direction OH exclaimed!!!

Today is our 10th year together. It's also been the fastest 10 years of my life; can't believe where the time has gone. Tin or diamond are the traditional gifts but we usually try to think outside of the (tin)'box'.

My gift to OH was a scrapbook highlighting memorable moments from our time together so far. Tried to keep the colour scheme to his favourite colours & shades of tin where possible. Presented to him in a tin from ASDA's kitchen storage section tastwfully decorated with pastel blue & green spots on a white background lol.

OH's gift to me is also from the storage section, not from ASDA but from Micro Direct & can store thousands of memories; a Tera-byte LG Nas Drive. Perhaps a future Blip.

Reason for the Dragon cupcakes is that very early on in our relationship OH told me he had got a little present for me 'A Dragon On A Stick... Thought as not been going out long it was going to be a typical motoway services type gift... Will Blip soon & you can see for yourselves, lol.

So Dragons have played an important role in our relationship & before you ask no i don't collect them lol...
The cupcakes were created for us by a local bakery who specialise in making bespoke cakes for any occasion. They are chocolate with a fudge icing centre & the heads are made from chocolate icing with a hint of magic dust... Got cupcakes as they were only £2 each & to have a top tier of a wedding type chocolate cake made was £30; a lot of difference & i like this idea lots
more:-)))

Going to have a meal out later this afternoon at our local Greek restaurant & spend the day together having a good old reminisce along with a bottle of white Zinfandel...

Thanks for dropping by; have a great day:-)
