profile of grace...

so here's how this went down...

i had my today blip all planned out, early in fact, because i managed to catch some upper respiratory crud and am not feeing well. when all of a sudden gracie jumps up and does the cutest pose, waiting, waiting.... and i think "oh no....where's the camera - quick...don't make noise, don't move too much..." because she has never had much patience with me and my camera - ever!

however, this time she let me snap a few before getting antsy... perhaps it's because she knows i don't feel well. maybe it's 'cuz she's not feeling very well either - those blasted thyroid tumors still causing her to lose weight even though we struggle together to get the meds in her every day.

other than a slight added blurring, this is just as it came from the camera today...no other editing....just my gracie. i decided to go with her because i don't know how much longer i'll have her with me and she cannot be replaced... unlike the other blip i had thought about - i can do it tomorrow or the next day....things are things. i'd much rather take advantage of the moments like these.... when they come, they are rare and should be preserved. i am grateful gracie decided to give me such a wonderful reflection of herself... today... and that i could share her with you...
