rear view

got my car back... big expense but a new/used engine that has only 53,000 miles on it... whoo-hoo! i suppose that's new life for the car but what a way to do it. i saw the old engine - all the twisted metal... i still don't understand what "throwing a rod" really means when you just see the holes blown apart and the metal. no one pointed out a rod to me but whatever... it was a lot of money at a bad time but the good lord has provided half of what i needed already. now i only need the other half by january when it comes due and all will be well - say a prayer for me. yay!

still fighting the crud... somehow i don't sound sexy with a husky voice. i think it comes out more like croaking - not a way to attract men...sigh.... so i'm off to partake of chicken soup and tea for my throat.
