A Blip on the Reidar

Chilly... brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...

Dunfermline Athletic 1-1 Clyde
East End Park
Freezing Cold

Dunfermline sacked their manager, Stephen Kenny, earlier in the week so this team headed out onto the pitch with "veteran" striker Jim McIntyre holding the fort. If we were hoping for a new start it certainly didn't seem that way after three minutes and a goal down.

The goal lost was so comical that most of us where laughing with tears in our eyes, it was really Keystone Cops playing out there, it was that bad. A mistake in defense, the keeper flaps it away as it trundles slowly along the edge of the goal line and then is passed over to the opposition who calmly slot it home. And all in front of an empty away support stand.

We had a goal back after six minutes and from then on looked the better team. When you have no luck at all its hard to make something out of nothing. We tried and failed. Struck the woodwork four times. Clyde went a man down after 60 minutes for two yellow cards and yet we still couldn't find the win. To be honest Clyde didn't seem to be in it either.

Rumour has it we will have a new manager in place for next weekend, good luck whoever you are?
