Maple wings

These seeds caught my eye this morning. They belong to a species of Maple but I cannot remember which! It may be the Norwegian Maple (Acer Platanoides) but will check again in the spring - if and when it arrives! One can see the farm buildings behind and in the right of the photograph there is a Hereford cow waiting to be fed!
