A Gesture

I was finally got back to the Docklands this evening to see if I could get a few more shots for my ongoing project. I spent some time in the Stena Sealink terminal, though the place was practically empty. I took the shot above in the café there, and the girl gave me permission to take a few more. The ferry was departing, the car park was practically deserted, there were no customers in the café, yet there were still things to photograph. Sometimes it's just a gesture that freeze-frames me, draws me to focus and click. Something lovely about her languid brown arm rising above all that inanimate, coffee-coloured upholstery.
