The Boiling Spring

I know I did a similar thing last week but I waited for ages for the Little Old Lady and the Scooter and the Dog but they never showed. I was inconsolable until I had a cup of tea and a biscuit.

I happen to really like this little spring. According to the the litte plaque on the wall, the water in this is around 70 C and comes up from 2000 metres underground. I'm prepared to believe that. I'm not going to stick my hand in really hot water just to confirm that it's only 67 C. It's plenty hot and suprisingly un-eggy.

There's something pretty about the patterns in the spring - and I like the little building it's in.

Oh and in other exciting news - I joined the library today. I know, I should slow down - this much excitement could be the death of me.
