pinecone

whoo-hoo....finally feeling better today - my cold is beginning to turn around... thanks for all the well wishes.

so guess what? i'm coming out of an appointment and spy an evergreen with a lone pinecone hanging on it... i wander over thinking maybe this could be my blip for the day - snap, snap. when i download it, take a look.... isn't this the most unusual pinecone ever? it appears that there are mushrooms growing out of it, right? or is it just me seeing this... is it some other kind of fungus?

whatever, i thought it was kind of cool looking and it isn't even a whole pinecone either... one more of my out-of-the box kind of images for the day... yay!
