3rd Sunday in Advent

We had a lovely - ad hoc - Nativity today with adults and children taking part in a completely unscripted tableau. It worked really well despite of lots of doubters -me included.

This is my own advent crown and this is a little ginger bread house tea light I bought last week at the German Christmas market in Edinburgh. I thought it was just too sweet to miss. Of course I will not burn it - in my experience they don't actually burn very well - but I felt it went with my Santa, Christmas tree and, also purchased last weekend, Snowman as a table decoration. I shall only burn ordinary red tea lights and the centre candle on Christmas Day, the others will live for another Christmas!
