Fallen leaves

Yesterday's frost is gone, though there's still plenty of ice around to catch you unawares, and when I was out at lunchtime taking this, it struck me just how many trees still have leaves on them, and how many leaves are lying on the ground. Even though it feels like we've already been through the darkest depths of winter, it's still autumn, damn.
