Not rubbish

F and I adventured into London to see what was going on. Our first discovery was this, part of the Christmas lights at the Royal Festival Hall created by David Batchelor. There were lit-up cement mixers, too. Great stuff!

We then went to Somerset House to see, but not do (it's far to slippy), the ice-skating and visit the Design Grotto. They had run out of mulled wine though (boo, hiss, boo!)

Covent Garden's food market was then sampled before browsing the shelves of Foyles bookshop and heading home.

London adventures are fun!
