Since 28th July 2010 my journal has been documenting the construction of a wind farm in the Terra Alta region of Catalunya, Spain. We own and live in a Mas (finca) which is on the line of the wind turbines and we will have two of them within 300 metres of our home.

It's been quite windy for several days and, worse than that, it's been gusty so no more turbines have been erected. In the meantime they are preparing everything that can be prepared, including taking the protective covers off these blades at the site to the back of us and putting all the bolts in. When I took this photo there was a man in white overalls touching up the paint on the blades, not a job that can be done later!
