Today is the day that our Christmas decorations are being out up. My favourite is this wooden box containing gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.

The frankincense and myrrh I bought in the old souk in Muscat, the gold came from the British Museum (the museum shop that is!) and the wooden box was a wedding present to my parents from wartime India.
