The Life Of Ponty Cyclops

Freezing Freiston

Braved the sub zero temperatures here to have a wander down to the local RSPB reserve.
It was a neap tide, so most of the waders were on the shoreline feeding.
We saw ten mute swans take off from the frozen lagoon. A pretty spectacular sight!
Walking back to the car park we noticed the hedgerow was laden of berries. Alas not laden with Waxwings, but a nice flock of Fieldfare.
