The start of winter

Apparently, Autumn is over and winter has begun.

Still plenty snow here with more falling yesterday and some overnight. No sign of gritters or ploughs, just neighbours digging together every now and then. You make friends with people you never meet in a normal week, when the snow comes.

With the temperature forecast for the next few days staying well down, I think I will have this view, certainly through Christmas and possibly into the New Year.

I will appreciate it even more come the weekend.
