We enter the darkest night

What a night! We lucked out with a cloud-free sky, though it was painfully cold. I had a blast playing with my new camera and camera settings, seeing what different apertures, exposures, and ISO levels achieved.

I am hoping that when I am done with my hot chocolate and peppermint schnapps, I will again have feeling in my toes.
